Aardvark
Under the light of the moon, the curious aardvark comes out to play! With its rabbit-like ears that wiggle and twitch, and a snout that looks like a mix between a pig and an anteater, this furry friend is a master of the night. It uses its excellent sense of smell to sniff out its favorite food... a big pile of ants and termites! Then, with claws so strong they could dig through hard dirt, it tears open a termite mound. Out comes its long, sticky tongue, like a wiggly piece of spaghetti, to lap up hundreds of bugs for a delicious dinner.
Because its name starts with "Aa," this amazing "antbear" proudly holds the title of the very first animal in the dictionary, a true A+ creature.
